YouTube is dangerous…
I was going to write a post about a link I found explaining how to memorize anything. But then I accidentally followed a link to YouTube…
Since it’s only 30 seconds, it wouldn’t be so bad… Except then I got a link from a friend to go watch a cartoon in Italian:
I don’t understand Italian, but just the animation is great. According to this friend, a partial translation of one bit of the clip is (don’t read if you haven’t watched!):
Arturo: “…strain the pasta with the vegetables (careful, it’s very hot)” Kiwi: “OW! OW! IT BURNS! IT BURNS! OUCH! OW! OW! IT BURNS!” Arturo: “I told you!” Kiwi: “IT BURNS! IT BURNS!” Arturo (calmly): “What do you do when you get burnt?” Kiwi: “You suffer.” Arturo: “And how do you suffer?” Kiwi: “In silence, in silence…” Arturo: “Good!”
Anyway, it looks like I really do need the link I intended to write about in the first place, both to remember what to write about and to learn Italian (so I can understand the cartoons).
