I definitely need a new computer as soon as possible, so when I saw these HP Coupons, I had to go look. There are definitely some good deals there, but I unfortunately haven’t found any that are good for me in particular yet.
But I’ll keep looking, maybe they’ll have something good in a few days. I’ll get a new computer eventually, but this could take some time.
I knew the other computer was probably on shaky legs. But when I’d turn it on, instead of backing up my data I’d get busy with various things… then it’d be time for me to sleep and I’d shut it off, promising that I’d backup my data tomorrow.

So I turned on the computer… It spits out a HD boot error. I thought, well, okay… it should boot to CD, then I’ll be able to get to the HD. WRONG! The hard drive wasn’t recognized by Linux. So it seems I’ve lost all my stuff that I had saved there. I don’t know how many files, folders, etc. etc. etc…. All because I was too busy to be bothered with backing up my data.
*sigh*
Why didn’t I backup my hard drive?!
More computer problems. I’ve got two computers here, one is the brand new computer that was purchased last time we had a computer die. And there is the one that I am using, 450Mhz.
This computer, annoyingly enough, is randomly deciding not to boot. It usually works with a Linux live CD (usually Knoppix, although I’ve been meaning to try out Kubuntu), but who knows how long it’ll last. So, it seems I’d better start setting aside money for a computer fund.
And, while I’m at it, I’ve got to get a new keyboard.
The new computer arrived! Hooray! The bad part is that I'm still using the old computer, with a bad monitor now. And it's setup on the floor. Ah, well, at least I can get more online time now. And the new computer's keyboard is really nice.
My aunt went and bought the new computer today. Should have it by Monday. I hope.
It's not a bad computer but I do hope we can get more RAM eventually. If not, at least it's a half-way decent computer.
I think my aunt is going to buy a new computer. This would be good.
But then she'll want me to work on her site more. This would be bad.

I don't know. I'll have to see.
I've been looking everywhere for computers. eBay, uBid, Amazon, various computer websites… So few under $200 total (including shipping). The ones that are are generally low on RAM or processing speed. That's no good at all. I don't want a speed demon, but I would like at least 1.5GHz and 512RAM (or for it to take SDRAM).
I've got over $100, but nowhere near $200. Almost to $120. At this rate, it'll be forever until I can get a 'new' computer.
