I know that this site has been around for awhile, but I have really been wasting my time today on the I can has cheezburger? site. I usually don’t go there, since it is such an incredible waste of time, but boy is it funny.

I have to make myself close the page now, or else I’ll end up looking at all the other kitty pics there.

I try to sleep on a schedule, I really do. But often I can’t get to sleep. I did find an interesting pillow I want to try, however. It’s the Mediflow pillow. According to the Mediflow website, it is a pillow that is filled with water to make it firmer or softer. This seems like a better solution than an air pillow, more along the lines of a water bed. It looks easy to use and hopefully would be more comfortable than a regular pillow.

Sometimes you might want to add a survey or a quiz to your website, but you don’t want to have to bother with code. Or maybe you don’t know what code you want to add. But I found a pretty nifty site called ‘Survey Monkey‘. How can you not like a name like that?

Creating the questions is very easy and you can choose from different color schemes. I didn’t really have anything to ask people about, but I created a test survey so you can see what it looks like.

The internet is making the world smaller, in a way, and it’s easier than ever to contact people in other countries. Unfortunately, people who speak English don’t always know enough of a foreign language in order to communicate and those who don’t speak English as a first language tend to have some interesting, to say the least, accents.

Personally, I don’t have too much trouble understanding most foreign accents (I like listening to the French & Italian cooks on PBS). But there are some that I would have to agree could use some accent reduction classes.

Yes, I would have to say that Americans in general should be more open to learning other languages, but if you don’t speak English as a first language and you attempt to learn it… you should at least try to be understandable. Don’t just go halfway and stop. Take a course from Executive Language Training. You, and those you interact with, will be glad you did.

I love Krispy Kreme donuts. Unfortunately, they don’t really sell them here anymore. They were all over the place and then the company got into some financial difficulty and the stores closed. This makes me sad. But I heard a couple months ago that someone was planning on opening up a new Krispy Kreme place around here. I don’t know if they are going to or not, but I did fiind an interesting article on how Krispy Kreme donuts are made.

Even if I can’t eat them, at least I can look at them. And almost smell them.

But nothing beats actually eating them, something which I cannot do at the moment.
